Lingfield Bird Walks

Local ornithologist Ray Baker, of the Lingfield Nature Reserves, will be hosting two Bird Identification Walks once again at Lingfield.

They will take place on the Lingfield Byways Long Walk on 13th May and on the Short Walk on 20th May.  Both walks start from the Lingfield & Dormansland Community Centre, as usual, at 10:15 am.


The Polesden Lacey Longer Walk

Wednesday 29th May

Meet at: Outside the cafe,  Polesden Lacey, Dorking Road, Great Bookham,

RH5 6BD

Time: 11:00am

Distance: 5 miles

 

The Reigate Hill Longer Walk

Wednesday 31st July

Meet at: Wray Lane Car Park, Reigate Hill, RH2 0HX

Time: 10:30am

Distance: 6 miles

Co-ordinator for

"Action for Life" Carol has retired, and is delighted that Julie Haslett has been appointed as her successor.

 

Julie has had many years of experience working in the Voluntary Sector, managing a team of Volunteers for East Surrey Community Mediation. Julie said "As a keen walker myself, and with all my previous experience, this is a wonderful opportunity for me.
