The Action for Life Walking for Health SchemeThe Action for Life Walking For Health Scheme.

The Action for Life Walking for Health Scheme aims to encourage people in Reigate, Redhill and Tandridge to take part in FREE local walks led by trained volunteers.

The walks are 'flat' and vary in length between 1.5-4 miles. They are mainly flat but some may include slight inclines and may have stiles on the route. Walkers will be encouraged to walk at a pace that suits them.

You can download a registration form here.

Membership of the Charity is £7.50

We are able to gain “gift aid” on contributions made since the 1st April 2009. This adds 25% to the value of your donation.

Why walk?Why walk?

Walking has been described as ‘the perfect exercise’.  It is a practical, natural and convenient way to keep your body, mind and soul healthy.  Walking can be as hard or as easy as you like and is suitable for all ages and abilities.  Walking can be done almost anywhere, doesn’t need any special equipment and best of all is completely free!!

We are grateful to:

Surrey Primary Care NHS Trust, Tandridge District Council, Lingfield Parish Council, Councillors David Pay, Michael Gosling, Raj Rampertab, Stephen Kulka, Lynne Hack, Peter Langham and SCC local committee (Reigate & Banstead) for their grants and financial support which helps to maintain & expand Action for Life.
